This is my 19th year teaching. I taught 2 years in 2nd grade, 3 years in 3rd grade, and 9 years in fourth. I am excited to start my 5th year teaching 5th grade!
I grew up in Jacksonville. I went to Christ the King and Bishop Kenny. I then graduated from UNF with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. In 2006, I became Nationally Board Certified in Middle Education Grades 3 - 7. I have also have added my certification for ESOL.
Personally, my husband and I have 3 children. Mylee is in 11th grade at Bishop Snyder High School and Anastasia is in the second grade. I am blessed to have such sweet girls! Chandler is in the Navy, and is currently stationed in Naples, Italy. My husband's is a lieutenant for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, and the best dad to our children. We have a dog, Tito, who is a rescue from from Boxer Rescue of North Florida. We have an orange and white cat, Moses, who is rescue from Ana's Angels. We have Rosie, a Betta fish, too. Mr. Beltz and I are also licensed foster parents. So, we have a very full, active house! 
During my free time, I love anything with the outdoors. Fishing is definitely my favorite thing, and I enjoy working in the garden, swimming with my girls, going to the beach, and hiking. I am an avid reader and once I start a book, I have a hard time stopping!
